The AIS Difference

Compassionate, Expert Cancer Care

Every day at the Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center, we strive to provide complete and world-class cancer care. That's why we offer:

  • Highly trained oncology professionals
  • Superior diagnostic capabilities
  • Top-of-the-line treatment options
  • In-depth symptom and side effect support

These are state-of-the-art cancer treatment tools. They can make a huge difference for your body, when you have cancer.

Complete care means more than just handling the physical part of cancer, however. It involves walking with you when you have cancer—celebrating your successes and mourning your losses.

At The AIS Cancer Center, we believe the best way to support you through your cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery is through combining the power of technology with care for your spirit. We don't just provide you with the area's best technology. We also provide the area's best full-person cancer care.

It's what makes us a true cancer support community. It's what makes us different.

A Faith-Based Culture to Nourish Your Soul

Prayer is always welcome in our cancer center. Walk through our halls, and you'll see your oncologist, nurse and other support staff members praying for people in need. If you'd like someone to pray with, or you'd like someone to pray for you, that support is always available in our facility.

If you'd like to participate in a structured service, we offer a weekly formal prayer service—right in our lobby. Meet with other people of faith in a community of prayer, and come as often as you like. Anyone is welcome to attend. Bring your family members to pray with you too.

We also offer a chaplain for one-on-one meetings with you and your family members. Just say the word, and we will arrange a private meeting for prayer and spiritual guidance.

Putting Our Faith to Work for You

While prayer is an important part of our culture, we do more than meditate on God's love. We also try to put our faith to work in our community. We call it Sacred Work.

When you come to us for care, we will treat you like a member of our family. You'll get the top-of-the-line care your body needs, but we'll make sure you're comfortable and supported.

We also give back to our community through fundraising and awareness. That means you'll be a part of a cancer treatment team that makes the world better.

All of these steps involve putting our faith to work. That's a concept we believe in.

We've asked some of our patients to tell us a little about the Sacred Work they've seen during their time at The AIS Cancer Center. We'd love for you to read their stories to find out more about this extraordinary program.

A Difference You Can Really Feel

Building a cancer support community isn't easy. It takes time, commitment and a great deal of self-awareness. But at The AIS Cancer Center, we know that when faith is paired with technology, amazing things can happen. We invite you to experience that for yourself.
